The Historic Villages of Lamy and Galisteo are located in the Galisteo Basin, 15 and 20 minutes south of Santa Fe and quick access to the Eldorado area amenities.
Lamy is the home of the Santa Fe Rail Station. It is here that Amtrak passengers disembark upon their arrival to the Land of Enchantment. The Legal Tender History Museum is an architectural spectacle just across from the station and the Rail Car Cafe offers delicious breakfast and lunch where one can sit virtually on the tracks in an historic train car. Lamy is home to only a couple hundred residents, many of whom are artists.
The Village of Galisteo is a historic area with Pueblo & Spanish influence dating back hundreds of years. Today, generational families still live with an eclectic mix of individuals from all over the world who call this tiny village home. This area is a step back in time that offers spectacular mountain vistas, quiet and tranquility.
