Pecos is nestled in the Pecos River Valley with access to incredible canyon and mountain hiking trails and fantastic fishing. The Pecos Ruins can be visited to catch a glimpse into the local native traditions and incredible adobe architecture of the past that have influenced our current building styles.
When in Pecos, visit the Town and Country General Store or stop at one of several local cafe’s to taste real New Mexican cuisine. (Hint…the Shell Gas Station has a grill with excellent burritos and tacos if you want food on the run!)
