Historic zoned home with interesting history of ownership/residency by famed artist Margaret Lefranc, "Recipient of the Governor's Award for Painting." This home was handmade by the artist and has a nice location on a very small Eastside street. There is a studio that is part of the square foot calculation. Big mountain views, historic style, mostly adobe home between La Luz and running down to Cabra. La Luz is a very short street with classic Old Santa Fe homes and really quite private. Four fireplaces, vigas and latillas. Really a classic from the 50's with a great feeling of old Santa Fe.
Santa Fe’s Historic Eastside
With some homes dating back centuries, these neighborhoods boast some of Santa Fe’s most photographed adobe homes and gardens. Hosting a mix of multi-generational families and newcomers, the homes, often hidden behind high walls and accessed by narrow, dirt lanes, recall the city’s early history and lend Santa Fe a unique heritage.
