TERRA NOVA - A property like no other. Set in a 3.2 ac. oasis among rolling hills of sagebrush with dramatic mountain views, Terra Nova was designed as a sanctuary for healing body and spirit. Stunning courtyard w/ fountain and three separate structures. 1,140 sq ft 1BR/1BA Hexagon, 2BR 1,012 sq ft adobe, & 512 sq ft office/studio, all w/ attention to detail, quality and combining elements of nature. The owner lovingly selected custom finishes like Venetian plaster, stone mandalas, special hardware, handmade doors & cabinets, Indonesian pebbles, & stained glass. The compound boasts eco-friendly aspects like solar power, well water (new well) w/ the Grander Technology filtering system, water catchment, & drip irrigation. The homes also feature sub-floor radiant heat, grid-tie-interface, & broadband. Other creature comforts are the oversized 2CG & hot tub. A rich history also comes with the property. Lore has it that it was a sacred spot for Indians 1,000 years ago and arrowheads and chards are still found on the property. In the 80's, the hexagon was purposely built for the 'channeling of the voice of Bartholomew" because of its spiritual energy field of the land. The structure has also served the Tibetan community of Taos with gatherings and Native American writers and teachers held sweat lodges, ceremonies, drumming and healing there. The current owner has continued in this tradition with her Practice for Integrated and Educational Medicine.
