Goose Downs Farm is the Southwest's premiere 3 Day Eventing Facility. It is located on 300+ acres 30 minutes south of Santa Fe in the beautiful and historic Galisteo Basin. This wonderfully thought out training barn would make a superb location for any equestrian discipline. The layout consists of three territorial style houses for a total of 7 bedrooms and 6 baths. The main barn is a courtyard design consisting of 18 stalls with turnouts for each. Three tack rooms, feed room, storage room, three washstalls, office, bathroom, and student lounge finish off the plan. The second barn consists of 9 stalls with attached paddocks, three stalls turnout into a several acre field, two wash stalls and two tack rooms and a store room for equipment. There are 6 large paddocks (1/2 acre to 6 acres), two full dressage arenas with lights for night riding, an indoor arena, an acre+ jumping arena, and three openings to a 5+ acre lot, an additional enclosed arena, a round pen, a one mile groomed galloping track and finally a full cross country course that ranges in difficulty from Pre Comp to the Intermediate stage of Eventing. The very best of it all... Goose Downs is a horseman's dream. The beautiful mountain views, fresh high desert air instills peace and joy that Northern New Mexicans know well.
